Service Description

This course provides students with a basic understanding of wheel loader operation, maintenance, and load handling. It covers relevant federal and provincial legislative requirements and focuses on the following key areas: safety regulations, types of front end loaders, components and functions, & safe operation including ensuring stability, avoiding overloading and improper loading, maneuvering safely, handling slide slopes and grades, workplace hazard assessment, bucket filling and dumping techniques, digging, leveling, undercutting, and proper start-up and shut-down procedures.
